I originally learned to crochet around the age of 7, and did a reasonable amount of that for a few years, before I inevitably became distracted by school life. I didn't actually learn to knit (at least, not very well) until much later, when I was trying to find distractions from my PhD work. Meanwhile, I had made a few costumes for parties, Halloween, and so on, since around 1998. I continued making costumes for AASoc conventions for a few years, before moving on to more conventional clothing, and I probably now make around half of my own clothes.

The contents of this section are mainly dictated by whatever I still have photographs of. In particular, I'm missing pictures of one of the cosplay costumes, and I don't currently have photographs of most of my more recent clothes.
